Update to this. I found this info in forum:
Apr 08, 2014 Good evening, Could you pls tell me what program would be best for my mac os x 10.6.8 macbook? I need to be able to add text, shapes and arrows, resize and the like. Jul 01, 2014 I have a Mac OS X version 10.6.8. I use Entourage for email. Yesterday I got a Microsoft Installation box on my computer and, without even reading it, assuming it was just one of those regular updates (Dumb!) I went through the installation process. A yellow 'O' and a black info box about Microsoft Mac 2011 appeared and I couldn't close it.
'A digital image file has two 'creation' dates, the date the image was captured by the digital device (cameras, scanner, etc) and the date the image file was created on the HD.'

The problem seems to be that when I don't modify an image in Picasa, the date captured remains the date created as far as finder is concerned. However, when the image is modified (eg shadow increased), 'date captured' becomes 'date created to HD'.

So apart from this being nuts, how can I get Finder, and therefore AppleTV, to sort and play by original image capture date created?
This might also be an AppleTV question.
